Medicine Bottles WebDrug Take-Back • BOTH In-District & Out-of-District residents are invited to participate in the Drug Take-Back program from 8am-noon. You’re welcome to bring in any prescription or over the counter medications to safely dispose of them.  Volunteers from the UT Pharmacy School will be on hand to receive the meds and talk with residents.

Shredded Paper - ColorShredding • Free shredding available for Progressive Waste customers from 8am-noon.  This includes In-District (MUD Customers) and the following Out-of-District HOAs:  Brattonwood & Bratton Hill as both are customers of Progressive.

Habitat for Humanity & Easter Seals • Open to both In-District & Out-of District – Residents should bring in donations for these charities between 8am-2pm.

paint-cansBulk Trash & Hazardous WasteIN-DISTRICT ONLY, please from 8am-5pm.  Out of District residents are not allowed to participate in this part of the event as we utilize MUD employees to transport the waste.

I will be making a personal run to the Hazardous Waste facility on Tuesday, October 15 to take everything that we’re not allowed to “collect and transport” via the MUD.  Please contact me directly if you live Out-of District and have something for the hazardous waste collection and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Fertilizers & Pesticides • If you have fertilizer or pesticides you need to get rid of, Dianne Koehler has offered to re-purpose them via Freecycle.com.  You may drop off bagged fertilizers or pesticides at 14909 Alpha Collier anytime from 8am-5pm on Saturday, October 12.  Please stack them neatly and with like products.  No leaking containers or product in poor condition, please.  Materials not taken will be transported to the hazardous waste facility by private vehicle on Tuesday, October 15.

Metal (car parts, equipment, basically anything made out of metal that can’t go in the recycling bin) • The Wells Branch MUD will be recycling metal on October 12 from 8am-5pm.  In-District only, please.  Ask for direction before unloading.

MUD Staff will be collecting Hotel Toiletries for donation to local charities.  Please, if you have any of those goodies left over from travel, consider donating them this Saturday from 8am-5pm.
