WB Photo Club to Host “Camera Basics”

The WB Photo Club has had several requests for classes on “Camera Basics”.  In JUNE and JULY the WB Photo Club will host two “Camera Basics” sessions.  While all sessions are open to the entire WB community we are going reach out in several directions so kids and adults can attend these sessions.  Think of these meetings as summer camp for photography.  WB Photo Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Camera Basics Classes will be held on:
June 13 & July 11
6:30 – 8:00pm
WB Rec Center | Rm. 101 | 3000 Shoreline Drive

The June class will include the following topics:

  • The Exposure Triangle
  • Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority modes
  • Exposure compensation and why exposure matters
  • A short discussion on composition (just an introduction, there will be more in July)
Bring your ideas, questions and cameras to class.  We’ll include some hands-on activities and review some sample work.

Remember, everyone is welcome and you do not need expensive equipment, any camera will do–even cell phones.

Take a break this summer and learn something new or just help share the hobby!
