WBNA National Night Out – Please Join Us

Tuesday, October 1 • 6-8pm • Chuck Walters Pavilion
at KF Park (enter park from Alpha Collier side)

You’re invited to a FREE supper to meet with your neighbors and local area first responders. The WBNA will be serving up hotdogs, sausage wraps, chips, fruit and drinks! Enjoy FREE Culver’s frozen custard provided by the Friends of Wells Branch Community Library. Join local area first responders and receive information on Neighborhood Watch, DPS Emergency Preparedness and other community programs.

Distinguished members from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, Pflugerville Fire Dept./Travis County ESD2 and Precinct 2 Constable’s Office will be on hand to meet with residents and answer your questions.

Don’t miss the chance to speak directly with local law enforcement officers to learn what you can do to help reduce the opportunities for crimes that can occur within our neighborhood. National Night Out’s purpose is to heighten crime and safety awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, build neighborhood spirit and strengthen our law enforcement-community partnership.

Activities include: Prize drawings for home safety products, an interactive fire safety demonstration, tours of the fire truck and ambulance hosted by Pflugerville Fire Department / ESD2. The Wells Branch MUD representatives will be there with information on upcoming events and safety on the trails. Plus, we’ll have volunteers on hand to register voters and share ballot information. Since 2024 is an important election year, WB MUD and WBCL candidates will also be on hand.

Take a stand against crime. If you have a local Neighborhood Watch group on your block, set a date after the event to meet your neighbors and discuss how you can make your homes and our community safer. If you don’t have a group yet we’d like to encourage you to make plans to start one. We’re here to help!

Please remember to bring a canned good or dry pantry item to support the St. Andrew’s Food Bank.

Special Bonus: Nintendo is a corporate sponsor of National Night Out for the first time. Nintendo’s mission is to put smiles on the faces of neighbors by creating new experiences for communities to enjoy together. When we work, talk, and even play games with our neighbors, we get to know them and create a safe community. It is for this reason that the Nintendo Brand Ambassadors will be joining us on October 1st. There will be prizes and giveaways! Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to connect with your neighbors.

We hope to see you at NNO!
