Venturing is a youth-led program for youth between the ages of 14 and 20 that focuses on building outdoor adventures with friends. Crew 1409 is a diverse group of youth and adult advisors who enjoy all things outdoors. We have outings every month and go on week-long adventures during spring break and summer. We are a high-adventure group that enjoys backpacking, canoeing, and alpine snowshoeing. We will be snowshoeing in Colorado for Spring Break 2025 and spending a week canoeing and camping along the Buffalo River in Arkansas for the Summer 2025 trip.

Bulk Trash Pick Up: Crew 1409 continues to provide bulk trash pickup every month as a youth fundraiser for a minimum requested donation of $20. Please note that we are unable to take any items that the MUD does not accept. We are only able to pick up household chemicals, including paint, in April and October for Extreme Clean. Also note that this service is provided only for household bulk items. We are not able to pick up contractor debris from home improvement projects.
