However, I am also a caseworker for a government agency that mostly serves low income people. I am amazed that a site is being considered that has no nearby services (food banks, community clinics, Dept. of Human Services offices, Any Baby Can, etc.). Also, in my job, I train people on how to access mass transit and am a bus/train rider myself from Wells Branch to my South Austin office. That location is far removed from any convenient mass transit stop. CapMetro had a bus running down Shoreline but even with 3 large apartment complexes on that route, discontinued the run.
