Cultural Diversity Day Anyone?

In January, the Wells Branch MUD asked for ideas for different services they could offer residents. A Cultural Diversity Day was suggested, as our community represents many diverse backgrounds. This type of event would be a great opportunity to learn about and explore cultural nuances with our neighbors. Each of you are invited to share your proud heritages and unique backgrounds.

If you would like to help define and shape this event, please email community@wbna.us. Note your name, contact information, heritage you’d like to represent, and preference for meeting times. We’ll contact you with meeting information. Remember, we can’t do it without YOU! Help create a Wells Branch TRADITION!

Volunteer to Keep Wells Branch
Beautiful at “It’s My Park Day”

Saturday, March 5 • 9am-Noon • WB Disc Golf Course

by Brian Litke

Join Wells Branch for “It’s My park Day,” an Austin Parks Foundation (APF) annual event to get the public involved in sprucing up their local parks. APF provides free mulch, tools and other supplies for the project. Volunteers are invited to a cleanup day at the WB Disc golf Park on Saturday, March 5, from 9am-Noon. Our monthly KWBB event will coincide with “It’s My Park Day” on Saturday instead of Sunday this month!

KWBB volunteers will pull invasive plants out of the creek bed, help plant trees purchased by the WB Disc Golf Club, cleanup litter and spread mulch around the disc golf course tee boxes. Please wear long-sleeve shirts and closed-toe shoes. It’s our opportunity to make (and keep) Wells Branch the cleanest, most beautiful community in Texas! Volunteers will receive a free “It’s My park Day” t-shirt and snacks will be provided.
