Bear had hip surgery. He didn’t follow the vet’s orders and overdid himself even though he comes from a vet’s family. Bear loves his walks and checking out the ‘hood so Tim and Laura, whom Bear owns, put him in his wagon and get him around this way. Bear is practicing his wave but since it needs a little more work, his tail is doing a great job.
Recycle those campaign signs!
I checked with Jim Hare of IESI (recycling provider) today and he confirmed that YES, we CAN recycle the corrugated plastic campaign signs but the metal frames must go in the trash.
Wells Branch MUD receives a $20 rebate for every ton of recycling. Those funds are dedicated to purchasing trees for our park system. Please recycle!
Trunk or Treat photos have been posted!
Thank you to all the groups for the time and effort they put into Trunk or Treat this year and to the MUD for sponsoring this event. It was a huge success!
A WBNA note: Thank you Linda Baird for coming early and helping me build out the spooky cemetery and George Holcombe, Lara Bennett, Gus Kohn & Pam Wachholz for handing out candy to all our Trunk or Treaters. EXTRA Special Thanks go to Madonna Johnson for her wonderful photographs. Madonna captures many of the Wells Branch neighborhood events so that they can be shared with our community. Last but not least, thank you to everyone who stayed and helped disassemble the graveyard!
