SAVE the DATE!  EXTREME CLEAN Spring! • Saturday, April 8

Start getting your stuff together!  It’s almost time for EXTREME CLEAN SPRING!  Each quarter, the WB MUD and WBNA collaborate to host a quarterly recycling and repurposing event.  Our next one is scheduled for Saturday, April 8, from 8am-5pm at the MUD Maintenance Yard, 13905 Thermal.  Below is the schedule.  Please note:  We cannot accept medication after NOON, or shredding after 1pm.

Springtime is our busiest collection and the WBNA welcomes volunteers.  We’d love your help for an hour, or the entire day, whatever you can give!  To volunteer, call or email 512-656-0654 or info@wbna.us.  This is a perfect opportunity for high school students to finish up community service hours before the end of the school year.

*All chemicals must be in labeled and sealed or in secure containers.  Items left will be posted on the Google Group, Craigslist, and Freecycle for repurposing.  Anything left on Monday, will be transported by private vehicle to the Travis County Hazardous Waste Facility.  If you have any questions about what can be left, please ask.  My husband is volunteering to do this while I’m at the Thermal location.  He’s got a bum knee, so if he’s not outside, please ring the doorbell before leaving anything on the driveway.  We want to help, but we need everyone to pitch in and cooperate in order to make this portion of the event work.  Thank you!
