Don’t forget to VOTE Down Ballot!
Down ballot races are non-partisan local elections. For many WB residents, this includes one or more of the following: WB Library Trustees, WB MUD Board Members and one of the two school districts in Wells Branch.
2026 Wells Branch Community Library Trustee Election Information is included on this page. WB MUD candidate information is on pages 13 and 14 of the September issue of the Neighborhood News. Each candidate is running unopposed so they will not appear on your ballot. ISD info follows.
Both School Districts, PfISD and RRISD, have Board of Trustee Elections in November.
PfISD Trustee Elections
PfISD Board Members serve three-year terms. All positions are at-large, meaning all voters within the appropriate boundaries can vote in each race, and elected officials serve the entire community.
Seats for Place 6 and Place 7 will be on the November 3, 2026 ballot. These positions are currently held by Jean Mayer and Chevonne Lorigo-Johst, respectively. Community Impact will run Q&As with each candidate running in a contested race in the weeks leading up to the election. https://communityimpact.com/pflugerville-hutto/government/
Candidates for Place 6 are Jean Mayer and Nicole Toran. For Place 7, Chevonne Lorigo-Johst is running unopposed.

ACC Annexation will appear on the
November 2026 ballot for PfISD.
Voters living within the Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) territory will decide whether to join the Austin Community College District (ACC) during the November election. If approved by voters, residents within the PfISD territory would become part of the ACC taxing district in exchange for access to in-district tuition, expanded programs and services, and a more direct partnership with ACC to address the community’s education and workforce needs.
