Fire Marshal logoTravis County Issues New Burn Ban

September 22, Travis County Commissioners Court issued a new ban on outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of the County. The previous burn ban was set to expire Sept. 23.

“While parts of the County have received rain, other areas have not,” said Travis County Fire Marshal Hershel Lee. “Fires easily start and spread in dry vegetation. Until we see widespread rain throughout the County, a burn ban will help reduce the risk of wildfire.”

The burn ban is scheduled to expire on Oct. 21, unless action is taken by the County Judge, Commissioners Court or Fire Marshal.

Wells Branch is AWESOME!!!  Special THANKS to ALL who participated in our July 4th Silent Auction! Every year just keeps getting better and better!

The Wells Branch Neighborhood Association would like to thank our neighbors for coming out and supporting our organization through the Silent Auction. We had an incredible turnout and broke our record yet again in our efforts to fund our neighborhood activities over the next year.  Our Fourth Fest Silent Auction brought in $5,424.58 last year, up from $5,204.62 the previous year (which was a record).  This year, we raised $7,872.50, an increase of $2,447.92 over last year.  Y’all ROCK!!!

WB MUD Marquee Public Input Meeting September 1, 2015 • 5:30pm

WB Logo Best Version Web AdThe Wells Branch MUD Board is considering replacing the marquees in the district and wants your input at the next Board Meeting!  They will be discussing the opportunity to replace the marquee signs at KF Park and the WB Recreation Center with new LED signs. The signs will provide the District with more flexibility for content while reducing labor cost.
