NW Crime Alert

A home in Wells Branch (near WBE AIA) was burglarized Monday, November 19.  They broke into the garage and ransacked the house.  A black SUV was seen speeding away from the home.  As a reminder, keep an eye out for your neighbors, don’t post your plans on social media, file a close patrol request if you’re going to be away (512-854-9721), disengage and lock your garage, and remember to deadbolt the door from the garage to home.

Download the Travis County Sheriff’s Office crime prevention booklet HERE.  Page 6 deals with securing garage doors.  Page 5 covers switching out the screws on both your door frames and strike plates.

Wells Branch VOTES!

Election Day is November 6 Early voting begins October 22 and ends November 2 • Elected Officials need to know that Wells Branch is a Voting Community • Not only is it your RIGHT, it is your RESPONSIBILITY • Arm yourself with knowledge • Get informed • Then VOTE!

For Travis County voting information, visit https://www.votetravis.com/ and for Williamson County, visit  http://www.wilco.org/.  The League of Women Voters is offering a non-partisan downloadable Voters Guide at https://lwvaustin.org/.

Don’t forget!  This election cycle includes some local elections that aren’t partisan.  If you vote a straight party ticket, make sure you scroll all the way to the end of the ballot and vote in the races that aren’t party affiliated (WB MUD Board & RRISD Board elections).  Who you elect at the local level can have a much greater impact on your everyday life than state or national elections.  Don’t forget, both RRISD & PfISD have bond initiatives on the ballot as well.  Find info on the school bonds at the following links: https://bond.roundrockisd.org/http://www.pfisdbond.net/
