Please join your friends and neighbors for an engaging community dialogue with Sheriff Sally Hernandez, Captain Scott Crowe and the TCSO East Command Staff. Officers from the TCSO staff are anxious to hear from the Wells Branch neighborhood. The WBNA team provided a list of current “hot topics” and Travis County Deputies are ready to address all your concerns.

TCSO staff members will be listening to community members’ concerns and taking questions from the audience. There will be educational handouts and fun takeaways for the kiddos. The WBNA will be preparing a list of questions prior to the event. We encourage folks to submit their questions or concerns to info@WBNA.US and enter TCSO May 2026 Town Hall in the subject line. Light refreshments will be served.

Wells Branch Democrats to Host House District 50 Primary Straw Poll

The Wells Branch Democrats Club will host an in-person straw poll for the Texas House District 50 Democratic Primary on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Wells Branch Recreation Center, located at 3000 Shoreline Drive. The event will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. and is open to all interested community members who want to engage directly with the candidates and the democratic process.

This straw poll is designed to give voters an early opportunity to hear from the candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for House District 50 and to express their preference ahead of the official primary election. The program will begin with brief introductions and short remarks from each participating candidate, allowing attendees to hear directly about priorities, values, and vision for representing the district at the Texas Capitol. Following the candidate remarks, attendees will cast their votes in the straw poll, with results announced before the conclusion of the event.
