FOL Financial Planning Re-cap Session

Earlier this year the WB FOL group worked with other community members and local business professionals to present a financial educational series.  Overall the program was well received and those who attended gained valuable insight and information.  These sessions were successful because of the educational format–there were no “hard sell” sales program.

Because they were working with business professionals’ schedules, weekends simply weren’t an option.  In addition, for a variety of reasons, they could not record any of the sessions.  After collecting some additional feedback, the FOL has decided to present a single “re-cap” session.

The intent of the session is to capture and present the key learning points and information from each session.  They will also provide a “laundry list” of resources to help folks build their financial knowledge base.  The information provided will serve as an outline of financial knowledge.

Regardless or your age or distance from retirement, please consider attending.

WB Community Center Parking Lot

Calling all princesses, monsters, super-heroes and other-worldly beasts!  Since Halloween is on a weeknight, we’ll be holding our annual costume contest at the CC beginning at 6pm sharp!

Trophies will be awarded by age in the following categories:  Cutest, Spookiest, and Most Creative beginning with the youngest contestants.  Age groups are as follows:  0-3yrs, 4-6yrs, 7-9yrs, 10-12yrs, 13-17yrs.  Come join in the fun!

WB Community Center Parking Lot

Ghosts, Ghouls, and Goblins abound in the CC parking lot on Klattenhoff where there be a multitude of scary treats for all your little monsters as the WB MUD Parks & Rec. Dept. hosts Halloween Trunk or Treat!  On behalf of the WBNA, Kohn Photo will be capturing the night creatures and posting their images on the Neighborhood Association Facebook page so that you may share with your friends and family and Party Face Fotos will be there with their photo booth courtesy of WB MUD.  Wells Branch Community Church will be serving up Hallowienies (hotdogs) to all the hungry little Trick-or-Treaters and a plethora of enthusiastic community members will be on hand with candy.  If you’d like to decorate a car or truck please visit the WB MUD’s special events page for more information.
