Update & Reminder about the Pumpkin Patch & Pumpkin Painting on Saturday!
Both are WBNA sponsored events.  We greatly appreciate the Andy Allen Team for donating the pumpkins and volunteering to help with the pumpkin painting.  We were thrilled to give Dianne’s Pumpkin Painting a new home last year and are happy that she has agreed to come again this year.
As a 501(c)(4), we are a non-political organization.  We do not endorse candidates in any race and each and every candidate is invited to our forums.  All candidates are represented in informational articles and posts to our website.
Volunteers at WBNA sponsored events are prohibited from wearing campaign attire or espousing their personal political views so as not to give the impression of WBNA endorsement for any candidate.  It would be most appreciated if other community leaders and residents in attendance this Saturday would follow these guidelines by creating a ‘politics free’ zone if you will, so that both parents and children may enjoy the event.
We are certainly not trying to stifle anyone’s first amendment rights, we just want to keep a children’s event just that, a children’s event.
We are very excited about the Pumpkin Patch & Pumpkin Painting in the Park and genuinely hope that everyone will cooperate.  It’s for the kids and should remain so.
