Pumpkin Painting has been a WB tradition for more than a decade with real pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.  Dianne Koehler, teacher & artist, will be supplying the brushes, set-ups and examples of what to paint on your pumpkin in case you need ideas.  It’s always a lot of fun and you get to take home a pumpkin to decorate for Fall!

Calling all princesses, monsters, super-heroes and other-worldly beasts!  Since Halloween is on a weeknight, we’ll be holding our annual costume contest on the Community Center steps beginning at 6pm sharp!  Check WBNA.us for updates.

Trunk or Treat

Ghosts, Ghouls, and Goblins abound in the CC parking lot on Klattenhoff where there will be a multitude of scary treats for all your little monsters as the WB MUD Recreation Dept. hosts Halloween Trunk or Treat!  The WBNA will be capturing the night creatures and posting their images on the Neighborhood Association Facebook page so that you may share with your friends and family and Party Face Fotos will be there with their photo booth courtesy of WB MUD.  Wells Branch Community Church will be serving up Hallowienies (hotdogs) to all the hungry little Trick-or-Treaters and a plethora of enthusiastic community members will be on hand with candy.  If you’d like to decorate a car or truck please visit the WB MUD’s special events page for more information.


It’s My Park Day

Frontier Family Camp Out 
Saturday, November 3, 4pm – Sunday, November 4, 8am
KF Park • 2106 Klattenhoff Drive

Bring your family and camping gear to KF Park for an overnight adventure as the WB MUD Recreation Dept. hosts an evening under the stars.  Disconnect from technology and enjoy storytelling and great conversation around a campfire.  There will be crafts, games and other activites for the whole gang!  Dinner and breakfast will be provided, compliments of the WB MUD Recreation Dept.  This event is free, but will be limited to 30 families.  Registration is now full, but you may ask to be added to the wait list.

Thanksgiving Potluck

Bring a covered dish or dessert to share with family friends and neighbors as we all gather for Thanksgiving dinner.  The turkey, ham, dressing, potatoes, bread, and beverages will be provided by the WB MUD.  Brown Santa barrels will be on-site so please bring a non-perishable food item and/or a new or gently used toy.  Sponsored by the WB MUD Recreation Dept.  We hope to see you there! 


Youth Fowl Shot Contest
Tuesday, November 20 • 6-8 pm
WB Rec. Ctr. • 3000 Shoreline Drive

Wells Branch youth are invited to test their basketball skills and maybe win a turkey to take home for Thanksgiving.  The contest starts at 6pm in the WB MUD Rec. Center.  Participants accumulate points by competing in a variety of basketball activities.  Youth will be split into three groups: 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17.  Grand-prize winners from each age group will receive a turkey.  Registration is free and will begin November 13 in the Rec. Center.  Sponsored by WB MUD Recreation Dept.
